Haringey and Enfield IAPT’s Online Digital Therapy Options
Let’s-Talk.co Online Psychological Therapy is a free NHS service in Haringey and Enfield. Ideal for those who prefer an online therapy option, or who require the flexibility of out of hour or weekend appointments
Option 1: SilverCloud Health
This service is our main Computerised CBT (CCBT) provision. It provides a wide range of online guided self-help programmes for specific common mental problems such as low mood and anxiety. Each person accessing one of these programmes is allocated a Clinician from IAPT who will guide them through the programme, and help with any questions they have as they are working through each module.
This service would be suitable for people who are familiar with technology, and who are looking for home-based guided self-help, but with the regular support of an IAPT facilitator/clinician.
Option 2: The Big White Wall
This service provides peer support and online groups for people with low mood and anxiety. It also provides video, audio or chat-based individual therapy, which can be accessed once patients have been referred to and assessed by an IAPT clinician. Some services are available 24 hours a day and all content on the website is monitored closely by ‘wall guides’ who are accredited counsellors.
This service would be suitable for people who are familiar with technology, those who may benefit from group chats and peer led support, and/or those who are looking for therapy out of hours.
Option 3: IESO (formerly known as Psychology Online)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is provided in real-time over the internet using written (typed) conversations. Patients meet with an accredited therapist in a secure online therapy room, at a scheduled time and location that is convenient to them. Appointments are either 30 or 60 minutes long and can be attended from anywhere they can connect to the internet, whether on the move, or from the comfort of their own home 24/7. All that is required is a PC, tablet or smart-phone.
This service would be particularly suitable for those who are looking for therapy on weekends or out of hours.

Once you have identified the presence of a common mental health issue such as anxiety or low mood, give the patient our web site address, www.lets-talk.co, so they can refer themselves to us. Please ask patients to specify on their online referral form (or on the hard copy version of our referral form) that they would prefer online digital therapy. We will contact them within 7 days of receiving their referral to conduct a brief telephone assessment and to set them up on the most appropriate digital option for them.
For guided and peer support, alternatively you can give the patient a SilverCloud or Big White Wall leaflet, for them to refer themselves directly without the need to contact IAPT. Please do not leave the leaflets in the waiting areas – they should only be given to clients you have already diagnosed as having anxiety or low mood, and only to clients who are not currently accessing secondary care mental health services.
